是巧合還是天意，第一次聽到《阿拉丁》插曲《Speechless》，直覺這簡直是為香港而寫。遂譯出一版，敬致香港為自由人權而戰的反共勇士。關於標題，看到網絡上已有的幾個中譯版，通常會譯為，沉默，無語，無言以對之類，我想，無論是這首歌本身所要表達的，或是聯想到當今之香港，標題都不應是無言以對，而應是大音希聲！

一個浪頭打來，

將我拋向不知何地。

一片暗潮洶湧，

將我拖進深海之底。

默默吞聲，無有隻言片語。

我之呼告，早為雷音吞沒，鋪天蓋地。

我卻不能哭泣，

更不能一潰千里。

無論如何，

封堵我口，磨滅我心，千方百計。

我都不會沉默不語，

你終無法讓我失語！


努力堅守不要顫慄，

我唯知我不會在沉默中放棄。

面對窒息，我要呼吸，拼盡全力！

堂皇規則刻於石上，

字句陳腐不可違背如鐵律。

「你要安分守己」

「你要循規蹈矩」

然而，此時，這場鬧劇正告終局！


我知我必須堅守不能潰堤，

任你封堵我口，磨滅我心，千方百計。

我都不會沉默不語，

你終無法讓我失語！

努力前行不要顫慄，

我唯知不會在沉默中放棄。

迎戰狂風暴雨，

我昂首直面寸步不移！

豈能瘖啞偷生，

我知我不會在沉默中放棄。

牢籠無法將我囚禁，

我又豈能束手待斃。

我將振作受傷的翅羽，

而你將看我化身火焰燃燒在天際，

我之大音在天地間久久迴蕩：

「我絶不會沉默不語……」

你想見我恐懼顫慄，

我只知我不會在沉默中放棄。

面對窒息，我要呼吸，拼盡全力。
